How topics are selected
We choose topics where a page can materially improve a reader’s next decision. We do not create mass model pages, generic cause lists, or content solely to target search rankings.
Research and source hierarchy
We prefer primary and authoritative sources. For safety conflicts, regulator guidance takes precedence, followed by manufacturer guidance for the relevant product or model. Technical publishers and community reports may provide context, but do not override safety instructions.
Model-dependent procedures are identified as such. We avoid inferring a failed component from symptoms alone when the available evidence does not justify that conclusion.
Use of artificial intelligence
AI may accelerate research, synthesis, outlining, drafting and QA, but publication requires original value, factual grounding and content-specific review.
AI output is not treated as a source. Claims that materially affect safety or decisions must be checked against appropriate sources before publication.
Corrections and updates
When we identify a material error, we correct the affected page. Content may be updated when source guidance changes, when a procedure proves model-specific, or when clearer evidence changes the recommended decision path.
Commercial transparency
We do not present paid placement as editorial opinion. If a commercial relationship could affect how a page is understood, the relevant disclosure will appear where appropriate.
